BoS asked:

I want to use my parent’s credit card to verify my paypal, but don’t want them to know. I have $50 on the account and don’t plan to spend a cent of my parents’ but wonder if I do use their credit card that they will find out. Will they?
Didn’t think it was that serious, Sharon. I won’t do it.

This is fraud. Get it? A felony offense. Don’t even consider it!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I found out a child of mine had done such a thing, well, very grave consequences and an absolute lack of trust.

Addilson Says:

Unless you actually use their credit card, no, they wont find out. Keep in mind that this means if somehow you’re unable to pay for something with the funds in your Paypal account, it will automatically go on to the credit card.

To answer the question in the headline, no they wont “notify the owner of the credit card”, since after all, they think YOU are the owner.
