yes you will, usually within a week.

If they said you have been ACCEPTED, then you have. They usually give you a confirmation number. If you were PREAPPROVED for offer, you may not….but usually do. If you don’t recieve the card in 7 days, call them up and ask them, but it could take up to 14 days.

Here is the most simple answer to your question: the lender must make a decision on your application within 30 days of receipt. If you are approved, you will receive the card with an open, active account. If you are declined, you will receive what is called an “adverse action” letter that must explain specific reasons why you were declined. It will include an address and/or phone number for you to call to get reconsidered if you wish, and also the ability to get a copy of your credit report for free.

It can take up to 5 to 7 days

if your signing the agreement (rather than the application) it will take 1-2 weeks to get the card made and delivered. If you havent had it after 3 weeks I would ring them in case its gone missing in the post.

It means you have been accepted, for how much that is for them to decide. You will get a letter soon telling you yur credit limit etc, and your card will follow shortly. You will then need to call the number on the card to activate it, then your off!

Yeah youve been accepted. However dont fall into the same trap as I did: They will send you all the info that you need to know. They will give you a credit limit, usually 200 quid to start with. They’ll tell you that if you stay in your limit and pay on time that your limit wil be increased on the 4th statement. I made the mistake of thinking a £200 credit limit meant I could spend £200. Not with Capital one!! If you spend £200 they then put their interest on, which takes you over your credit limit and then they charge 12.00 for going over. They will not increase my limit now because their interest took me over my credit limit. How much does that suck??? So be warned a £200 credit limit with capital one actually means you have a £180.00 limit. Enjoy!!!!
