When you dispute an item on your credit report, does it come off your score temporarily?

If you dispute a negative item on your credit report, will your credit score adjust as if the negative was never there, while the dispute is being investigated?

No, it takes time for your score to improve.

They have by law (30) days to verify if the debt is real or not. You can learn the FCRA laws by yahooing them..or goggle
