When Purchaseing something on a credit card does it notify the person that has the name on the credit card?

if i were to purchase somthing on a credit card would it call the person notifying that somthing has been purchased like i want to purchase microsoft points for my xbox 360 console i dun know if thats gonna make a diffrence?

Sounds like you are trying to use someone else’s credit card, which is illegal.

They would certainly know sooner or later, when it shows up on their bill.

Yes, if the purchase is unusual then the credit card will call the account holder to verify it’s an authorized purchase. There is also a security code somewhere on the card they will ask for and sometimes security questions will be asked just to verify that the account holder is the one making the purchase.

Yes. Either they call the person up before the purchase is made, or they will find out when they get the bill.
