Tell me why do people keep applying for credit facilities or credit cards?

They owe huge amount in credit cards, yet continue to apply for more cards.
In your opinion why they do that?
Is it because cerdit cards come easy, over commitment or insufficient disposable cash so they need to find cash?

Sadly because some people are real gluttons for punishment and they view credit cards as instant money.

For some people because of lack of financial education – nobody told them how to use credit.

For some people CC are great instrument of leverage.
