Ive been laid off and having trouble paying my credit cards?
I have about 11,000 in credit card debt and i am a single mother. I was laid off about 2 months ago and I am finding it difficult to keep paying these bills. I have to pay my rent and utilities, so what are my options? I have already filed ch.7 bankruptcy in 2004, so i dont think i can do it again. i only make around 1100 a month, help!

I know that you can call your credit card companies and ask them to reduce your rate.
That should help with your montly bill.
Also, ask them to work with you on reducing your monthly bill and possibly setting up a payment plan until you find a job.
They definitely don’t want you to default because then they will not receive any of their money at all, so they should be willing to work with you.
