I have a credit card with Washington Mutual. Should I be concerned about the bank’s recent failure?

I haven’t heard a peep from WaMu since they announced their failure. But I’ve heard other people discuss their concerns w/ the economy, etc. I’m really not sure how to react! What is your opinion on this matter?

Wamu just got bought by someone else. You won’t even notice any changes until you get your statement.
Consider yourself lucky you didn’t have 100 grand invested.

You now have a credit card with JP Morgan/Chase bank. Don’t worry about it.

No need to worry they have been bought out and things will be pretty much the same. You should get mail from the new company soon.

I guarantee you that you are going to get your bill right on schedule. You are what they call and asset and there will be someone to collect the money you owe.

The financial status in the world is going very bad, however, your loss depends upon how much you have invested. The more you have invested and the greater the downfall of the company or bank, the greater loss you incur. Well, try not to worry too much I don’t know if there is anything you can do now since this is the case throughout the world and not only in one bank. Almost every bank is doing much worse thank what they can do.
