First you should obtain your credit reports with FICO score from Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. Check all the accounts and validate that you don’t recognize by sending letters to Credit bureaus. Obtain a secured credit card and use it buy stuff you regularly buy and pay it in full and on time every month. Make sure that this credit company reports to credit bureaus. Don’t apply for any new credit for next six months. Recheck your credit file and score every six months. It takes atleast 24 months of on time payments to improve your credit score.
