And there not free hand outs, parents work harder then any other group or profession of people. Think about it, if only parents who were well off enough not to need child benefit had children hundred and thousands of nurseries, school teachers, pedatricians, shops like mothercare and the early learning centre would all lose there jobs. All these professions and many mnay more require children to be born for them to continue in business. With the amount of job losses already, think how many more thousands, of nurses, doctors, school teachers, shop workers would be out of job because there wasn’t a supply for them. If you stopped every parent having a child unless they were well off enough to afford to have them, there would eb no children. Because lets face it how many people can afford to live without some kind of help??
