How can we unfreeze the credit markets without buying these mortgage securities from the banks?

Over the last three weeks the average debt raised for healthcare companies has been ZERO dollars! Down from an average of 7 billion dollars!!!! When no new medicines or medical care can be provided cause these companies have no funding to run will you agree with a “bailout” then?

Force the banks in charge of the subprime mortgages to re-negotiate the adjustable rate mortgages. This would slow the decline down a lot. Also, would make mortgage backed securities more stable.
