		<description>If he disputed and never got resolved. It means you owed them the money.  If the charges found out to be fraudulent or you already returned an item, it should got resolved immediately. When the matter is resolved, the company would send you a letter indicates as such.  If you knew you were right back then, then you should demand a letter instead of doing nothing. 

I think you guys ignored it and never followed through and now it creeps back up on your credit report. 

The credit card company already reported you to credit bureau as delinquency. You can dispute with the credit report but they also require some investigation before it can be removed.</description>

		<description>If you owe money, you must pay it off - then the report will show a zero balance. That will remain on your report for 7 years, but will stop being a major issue after about 12-18 months.

If they are truly in error, then disputing them directly to the company that placed it on the report will clear it up.</description>
