Any easy tricks to help build my credit faster?

I heard that taking out a few $1000 cd’s at one bank and then borrowing against them at another is a great way to build credit. (granted those payments are made on time) Anyone know of any other neat ideas like that? I am already doing all the right things, but am looking for any extra boost that I can get. Thanks!

credit reporting agencies use many different factors in determining a credit score. Some points are established residence (the longer the better) this goes the same for employment periods. also total available credit based on income and debt load (stay away from all the store credit cards) try to keep your debt load low as this will be a factor in obtaining future credit

1. Keep you credit balances at 30% of the available credit
2. Don’t have more than 6 cards
3. Don’t get department store cards
4. Don’t cancel old cards, your credit history gets canceled with the card.
5. Make your payments on time
6. Make sure your credit report is accurate
